ABC (US) commissioned Hoodlum to create a site where users where asked to answer the question "What did you see?". The site was based around a spinning globe that displayed dynamically the hundreds of thousands of responses. Users were also able to view these responses in text mode (flow), graphic mode (patterns) and photos (images).

ABC (US) wanted to create buzz and build anticipation for the series premiere of FlashForward. Hoodlum created a 10-week online prequel that set up the mystery answered in the TV series. The experience incorporated multiple websites including a blog site of a fictional journalist called TruthHack.com. The campaign ran across popular social networks and included a highly active YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter Profiles and a 4-day live event at Comic-Con 2009.

The campaign also encompassed user generated content and allowed audiences to submit 'what they saw' on the destination site. Videos, images or text could be uploaded and mapped on an interactive globe. Weekly mini-docs were released on the Mosaic site that contained hidden keywords to exclusive content. Audiences were also introduced to two new characters who interacted with them online. These characters then appeared in the TV series and tied up the prequel storylines in a truly integrated experience.
