Summer Bay Online was a four-week interactive online narrative produced by Hoodlum in association with Yahoo!7 and the producers of Home and Away. The multiplatform experience was designed to work in concert with and extend Home and Away storylines before, during and after the 2008 Beijing Olympic break. Audiences were invited into the world of Summer Bay where they could discover additional story and details about characters and be part of the exclusive online mystery.
Throughout the four weeks, users enjoyed daily high-end video sequences featuring their favourite characters, and hunted for story-based clues such as diary entries, voice mail messages and emails.
